Top 5 Locations to View Fireworks in Pittsburgh

Gearing up for these summer months means getting your warm-weather holiday plans in order. Nothing screams summer fun more than fireworks on the Fourth of July! We’re here to recommend our top spots to watch fireworks in Pittsburgh on July 4th, 2022!

Point State Park
A classic. Located at the confluence of the three rivers, Point State Park is known for its larger-than-life fountain and is also a National Historic Landmark! With plenty of space to sit, firework viewing here is our #1 pick!
601 Commonwealth Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

ENTIRE North Shore / Three Rivers Heritage Trail
This one has a large span with plenty of great viewing options. Try near the water steps in front of PNC Park or near the Carnegie Science Center and Rivers Casino; all options have space along the river to sit and watch!
Three Rivers Heritage Trail, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Mt Washington (and its many overlooks)
IYKYK. This one might be crowded, but it’s good! Nothing beats views from above.
136-160 Grandview Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211

West End Overlook
Potentially the most underrated option. Just like the Mt Washington Overlooks, view the fireworks and the city from above and from a unique perspective.
Marlow St, Pittsburgh, PA 15205

Station Square
Excellent for its large parking area and unique view. While you’re down there, board the Gateway Clipper for a fireworks sightseeing cruise!
25 W Station Square Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
